
Ingredients
- 3 tbsp flour (spelt, white, oat, all work)
- 3/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup natural chunky peanut butter (Teddy is the best)
- 2 T applesauce
- 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
Steps
- Preheat oven to 350
- Combine dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl
- Add the rest of the ingredients to the flour mix in the mixing bowl and stir to form a dough.
- Roll into cookie balls – I recommend 10 to 11 cookies
- Press cookies gently with a fork
- Bake for 10 min (less time if making more cookies) The cookies might look underdone and too soft but they’ll firm up.
- Let cool on the tray for 10 min to firm up
