Mt Garfield
Took the Garfield trail to the summit. Had a chance to see one of the “Flags on the 48”.
Mt Moosilauke
Took the Glencliff and Carriage Rd route, hit the South Peak, then on to the summit.
Mt Cardigan
Great day on Mt Cardigan with a Worcester AMC group. Started in microspikes, changed to snowshoes since we had to break the trail the entire way, and then changed to crampons at the ridge since it was all ice. Winds at the summit were 60-70 mph.
Jennings Peak & Sandwich Dome
We hiked a counterclockwise lollipop route. After a steep climb on the Sandwich Mountain Trail, we reached a viewpoint near Noon Peak (2,976′). Then we continued on the trail to a spur to Jennings Peak (3,440′) which has the best view of this loop. Mount Moosilauke, NH
Mt Moosilauke rewarded us with amazing views after a steep 3,300 foot climb in deep soft snow. Great day with the AMC Worcester group.
