Mt Tecumseh, NH 3,997′ – so close to being a 4000 footer! Great fall hike starting at Waterville Valley ski area just a 2-hr drive from Boston. Happy to share details.
Hike: Mt Watatic, MA
Mount Watatic and Nutting Hill via Wapack Trail. Mostly easy 2.8-mile loop trail near Ashburnham, MA. Some spots in the parking lot or park along the road across from the lot. Here’s the AllTrails link.
Hike: Wachusett Mountain, MA

Hike: Mt Cardigan, NH
High Pond Ski Area
High Pond was the winter hot spot in the 70s for me and all the other skiers in the Brandon area.
